Pearl Philosophy was founded in 2022, a pivotal year in the life of founder Laura Tan. The idea for the brand emerged during and after Laura's pregnancy, as she reflected on the profound transformation of becoming a mother and the myriad of stories often overlooked in the journey of motherhood. During this introspective period, Laura recognized the need to preserve women's narratives, especially as life transitions unfolded and priorities shifted.

The concept of Pearl Philosophy was born out of a desire to ensure that the stories of women continue to be celebrated and honored, even as the demands of life take precedence. With a deep appreciation for individuals' unique experiences and voices, we set to create a brand that would capture the essence of storytelling through bespoke jewellery.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not completely satisfied with the item(s) you received, you may return your purchase for a full refund within 15 days of the shipment date. Please note, that an $8 flat fee will be deducted from the refund to cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Items returned must be in original condition with tags attached and be returned in original packaging. Items must be unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.

We reserve the right to deny an exchange or store credit if the item(s) returned are not in original condition or do not meet our quality standards.

REPAIR POLICY

Our repair policy for gold vermeil jewelry ensures your pieces maintain their beauty and quality over time.

Suppose your gold vermeil jewelry requires repair due to manufacturing defects within six months from the date of purchase. In that case, we will repair it at no additional cost.

To initiate a repair, please email our team with your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. Once approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the item for repair.

Please note that our repair policy does not cover damages resulting from improper care, accidents, or normal wear and tear. In such cases, repair services may be available for a fee.

REPAIR POLICY FOR JEWELLERY CREATED AT A WORKSHOP

While we strive to ensure that your jewelry pieces are of exceptional quality and crafted to endure daily wear before you leave the workshop, we understand that issues may arise afterward.

For any metal defects, you can have them fixed at the next available workshop you attend. Alternatively, you may choose to send the item to us for repair.

Please note that gemstone or pearl replacements are not included in workshop items.

We offer several shipping options for deliveries within New Zealand:

Standard Shipping ($7.90): Our standard shipping option typically takes 3 business days.
Free Shipping: Orders over $85 may qualify for free standard shipping within New Zealand.

Processing Time:

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days of payment confirmation. During peak seasons or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Restrictions:

Please note the following restrictions that may apply to shipping within New Zealand:

PO Boxes: We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses. Please provide a physical address for delivery.

Order Tracking:

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to track the status of your delivery through the designated courier’s website.
